What is the recovery time after the hypospadias operation?

Depends on severity: Of hypospadias + complexity of repair. Most of my cases have a cast-like dressing plus urethral stent (tube) for 7 - 9 days. Very minor repairs may require minimal or no dressing or stent. Most cases are done on babies with above schedule. Older boys or men may take longer to recover.
