If i am immunosuppressed, should i not get a tattoo or piercing?

No: If you are immunosuppressed then you realize that you are more succeptible to getting an infection and not having the ability for your body to fight it adequately. Placing foreign material or objects in your body sure isn't going to help.

You SHOULD NOT!!: Tattoing can lead to infections with organisms like clostridium tetani, streptococcus pyogenes, staphylococcus aureus pseudomonas aeruginosa, haemophilus ducreyi, treponema pallidum & mycobacterium leprae. It can cause illnesses like sepsis, impetigo, tetanus & erysipelas. Common infections related to piercings include staphylococcus aureus, group a streptococcus & pseudomonas.
