Vascular: The description sounds like hemangioma, benign vascular tumor. Those usually represent no danger of malignancy. They may cause some cosmetic disturbance or occasionally some pain by pushing on nerves or adjacent structures. In those cases, small ones are amenable to liquid nitrogen treatment, while bigger ones need to be excised (taken out).
