So far, women ahead.: Recent studies have men at about age 79 for mean of life expectancy at birth, and women @age 84. Both these numbers will continue to rise. Personally, 5 women in my practice are centenarians; this 1/2 million will double every 13 years. Futuristically, my cousin ray kurzweil, predicts possibly living forever if reach 2030 in healthy state, or the year singularity (mind/machine) is accomplished!
