Depends: That could be a variety of things ranging from minor to concerning. Although things like heartburn or chronic post nasal drip could play a role, a conversation and exam with a doctor is probably important because of the potentially more serious concerns. Sometimes an imaging or endoscopy is needed. In the meantime chew your food well and take small bites!

Acid reflux?: That's a common cause, but there are lots of other ones too. If it is persistent or worsening it is worth seeing your doctor.
