Resistance: Some strains of yeast are resistant to diflucan (fluconazole). It is only 70% effective for vaginal yeast infections. Alternatives can be further treatment with diflucan (fluconazole), use Miconazole 7 vaginal cream for 7 days, get a prescription for a different antifungal cream such as terconazole from you clinician.
