What is symptoms of ibs? and will lexapro (escitalopram) help treat ibs?

Varies and maybe: The signs and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome most commonly include abdominal pain or cramping, a bloated feeling,  gas (flatulence),  diarrhea and constipation, as well as mucus in the stool. ssris, such as Lexapro (escitalopram) may be helpful if you're depressed and have pain and constipation. These medications can worsen diarrhea, however.
