Yes: An endometrial ablation does not prevent conception. You should take a pregnancy test - if positive, see your doctor.

Unlikely but: Possiblebut possible. Ablations only affect the lining of the uterus. You still ovulate every month regardless of whether you bleed or not. If worried you can always take a home pregnancy test. At 48 you getting close to menopause age, so ovulation can begin to become more irregular, which also makes pregnancy more difficult.
