Very likely: Two regions could be involved. Most common is the carpal tunnel at the wrist. This would cause tingling primarily in the thumb and index finger. The other is the cubital tunnel at the elbow. This would cause tingling along the butt of the hand and little finger. Protect both areas carefully. You may need studies of the involved nerves, but good positioning and padding would be the first step.

Consider this: Carpal tunnel syndrome is a form of pressure neuropathy that can affect both hands. How do you hold your hands at your desk? What parts of your hands tingle? It is possible that you can narrow down the diagnosis by answering these questions. It may help to keep a folded towel or pillow under your arms at your desk- hard flat surfaces are normally the source of compression.
