Yes: But it depends on what you are asking. Antibiotics are usually given for a few days after a ruptured appendicitis surgery. They are not usually given for a prolonged time, so I do nor know if your question was regarding the immediate postoperative days or another time period.

Antibiotics/surgery: Most likely you were given antibiotics. Prophylactic antibiotics for emergency and elective surgeries is common. They are given intravenously, so you might not have been aware. After surgery, if your appendix was ruptured your surgeon would decide about additional antibiotics, the route IV or by mouth and for how long. It is okay to ask your team.
