Call your surgeon: When you say you left the ER, did you mean hospital? Most patients with an acute appendicitis are admitted via the ER and discharged from the inpatient side. Assuming you were only admitted once, I would want to make sure the symptoms you're experiencing are not due to wound separation, bowel perforation or an infection. It would best to follow up with your surgeon ASAP or go to the ER.

Call your surgeon: The most common complication 1 week after abdominal surgery results from the constipating and nauseating effects of opioid pain medication. Nausea from opiates occurs more often when there is less pain. The constipating effect causes a pseudo-obstructive process that can also contribute to vomiting. Complications from the surgery itself are less likely but more serious. Go to the ER or call doc.

Contact surgeon: Mild nausea is common after abdominal surgery. But multiple bouts of emesis (vomiting) and persistent nausea this far out raises a concern. You should contact the surgeon for examination.
