Depends: Intraocular gas is used to fix retinal detachments and to repair macular holes. There are a few other, but less common, applications. Depending on the type of gas used; air, sf6, c3f8 for example and the concentration...The gas may last from days to 3-4 weeks. You need to ask your doc what she used.
