No: Iodine may help to clean skin before procedures. Applying iodine to a burnt skin will cause quick absorption and will only cause toxicity and irritation if it's alcohol based or even non-alcohol based preparation. I would not apply it. Use tap water (warm) to clean it up.

No,not at all: Minor burns need the best environment to heal, to be kept clean, and not be treated with anything that kills normal cells. Washing with regular soap and water followed by light application of Bacitracin ointment and a light dressing 1-2 times daily is the best treatment plan. All minor burns should be completely healed by 3 weeks.
