When i, and other people i've asked, sneeze, its always through the mouth. this happens naturally, as part of the reflex. this is normal, right?

Yes: Nose and mouth. One should avoid holding the nose when sneezing as this will force bacteria into the middle ears. The proper way to cough is not to use your hands, rather use the bend of your elbow to avoid spreading germs.

No: Sneezing is a reflex to clear the nose of particulates, so letting it escape through the mouth is a voluntary response . It is best to cover nose and mouth with your forearm when you feel a sneeze coming on.
