Many possibilities: There are many causes for abdominal pain after eating. One of the most common is pain in the right upper quadrant after eating fatty foods which is due to gallbladder attacks. Other pains which occur after eating may be bowel obstructions especially if he had previous abdominal operations. Pain after eating should be assessed by your pcp and then from there he may be sent to a specialist.
