ACEI: This acei should be dose daily. I would stop the med. Take home bp's and see this docotr in 7-10 days to discuss.

Unusual.: This is a pretty low dose of lisinopril. Something else is going on. Any other meds? What is the usual variation in your bp? You need to monitor your BP morning and night for a while off meds. You did not say what your systolic BP was when the diastolic was 90. Treatment of hypertension in the elderly is a little tricky and you need a geriatric-cardiologist doctor.

Missing lisinopril: L reduces blood pressure by treating endothelial dysfunction, as seen in the slide. The enlarging of the diameter of the artery, seen in the top, is how high BP is reduced. This takes about two weeks to occur, so your blood pressure should not be changed dramatically on a daily basis, in the absence of volume loss or some irregular pulse rate. What is your systolic bp, pulse and your blood count?
