Is being a pediatrician hard?

It's rewarding: It is a very multifaceted job. Dealing with illnesses that sometimes the patient can not fully explain such as babies or young children , interpret the differences between what the patient feels and how the caretakers feel taking care of the patients as well as the parents all challenging but rewarding its all how u perceive what hard is but rewarding at the end of the day ....Absolutel.

Pediatrician: Sometimes being a pediatrician is hard. It is more rewarding then hard. The hardest thing in my opinion is the paperwork :). The children are great.

Best job in world!: In my very biased opinion (I'm a pediatrician), I have the privilege of caring for sick and well children which is very rewarding! It is a long road to become a pediatrician, but WELL worth it. To quote one of my favorite movies: "It's supposed to be hard, the hard is what makes it great!"
