I have sores on top of my forearms that look like infected hairs. they scab over and then scar but don't really heal. what could this be?

Not serious: If the lesions come back, they may be hydradenitis which can be cured by eliminating the infected source. Disseminated staph or strep can settle in hair follicles or even just subq. Culture of the drainage can help. Antibiotics may be needed. See a dermatologist.
