Yes: Prolapsed internal hemorrhoids can wax and wane in size based on a number of conditions, mostly related to activities of patient or treatments used. With sitz baths and epsom salts, some internal and external hemorrhoids improve, along with avoidance of straining at bowel movements, and good blood pressure control. Topical witch hazel helps with itching and burning.
