No: Microcytic anemia is related to the red cells. Lymphocytes are one of tnhe groups of white cells.

Not likely: Atypical lymphocytes may have to do with a viral infection, seen on peripheral blood smear (pbs). Microcytic anemia is a type of anemia where the size of the red blood cells are smaller th an normal; causes would include iron deficiency, thalassemia, lead poisoning, or some form of hemolytic anemia. Are you a med student?
