Urologist can check: Panadeine appears to be a foreign pain medication, similar to the tylenol+codeine in the U.S. Since it is a narcotic, the goal would be to wean off of it as soon as the pain is better. The urologist can best predict if the pain will return, and how long irritation or inflammation of the nerve might last. A neurologist can also give a helpful evaluation, if it is indeed a nerve problem.
