Pharyngitis: The antibiotic may be dealing with the bacteria but your throat may still be uncomfortable due to inflammation and swelling of the tissue. Try taking tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. You can also spray your throat with chloraseptic spray followed by gargling with the orange purple or clear listerine.
