Uti: The most likely problem would be infection. However as you get olderbladder tumors or polyps possible.

See a Dr.: It sounds like your grandmother should go see the doctor. She may have a bladder infection that is causing some blood but usually it is not full of mucus. The blood may not be coming from the urine so she needs to be seen by a doctor.
