Not normal, ? UTI: Urinary infection is most common cause of mucus in urine. So you should have a routine urinalysis. Mucus is sometimes & rarely associated with a muus producing bladder tumor & occasionally with kidney stones. Mucus is always if subject has had bladder enlargement surgery using a segment of bowel, in which case it is a normal finding.
