I have a pain (not horrible just unconfortable) that goes from my mid left back to the front just below the left breast. i recently moved some furniture could that be it, or could it possibly be my colon ( i suffer fro irritable bowel syndrome)?

Muscle strain: What you are describing sounds more like a muscle strain that would be consistent with recently moving furniture. Watch for a rash that may develop as it could have another cause. Not likely to be irritable bowel although that always remains a possibility.
