Yes: Although rare, there are many women who don't notice anything different until near the birth of a child. These are often women whose periods are irregular anyway, so they don't notice the missed periods. However, the usual symptoms of pregnancy - nausea, swelling, etc - are not "necessary" for pregnancy.
