My friend had mri because she have pain fron 1 year in chest , . and in the report mentioned that she have mild thickening of adjacent pericardium , . is that normal?

Needs f/u: A thickened pericardium can be caused by many things but usually is related to an inflammatory process....In most advanced cases it can constriction. Recommend echocardiogram.
