It can happen : Thrush is a fungal infection and can happen at any age. In infancy, it is common and often of no consequences. In adult, usually there is a cause: med use such as steroid/astha/copd inhalers, antibiotic use, uncontrolled diabetets, immunocompromised states such as hiv/aids, cancer/chemotherapy etc... I would consult for eval as to see why you got thrush. It is easily treatable. Good luck.

Yes: Thrush can occur at any age. You can develop thrush from many causes including recent antibiotic treatment, poorly controlled diabetes, taking steroids, have an underlying immune disorder like aids, suffer from leukemia or lymphoma, receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy in the head or neck area, wear dentures, and excessive use of mouthwash.
