Post-tonsillectomy: Probably impossible to totally prevent or cure nausea after a tonsillectomy. However, cool clear fluids will keep the swelling down and reduce the mucous. Talk to your doctor about getting zofran (ondansetron) odt. Anti nausea pills you can put on your tounge. Usually very helpfull and safe.
