Yes: Visiting or touring the hospital helps you feel more comfortable and alleviates some of the anxiety associated with having a baby. Most hospitals welcome expecting couples for tours of the facility and usually provide this option for free. Our two hospitals baylor medical center of irving and thr harris methodist heb both encourage this practice.

Yes: It's a very good idea. Different hospitals have a different programs regarding the education for the future parents. Most of the hospitals have an educational nurse, who are making tours and showing around the nursery, neonatal intensive care and maternity units.
