You have: to identify the reasons why you are afraid of being alone at home. The emergency room makes you feel safe in case you have any problems. It may be beneficial to talk to a therapist to identify the underlying fears .

The reduced sense: of anxiety may be because you are reassuring yourself that help is available (if you really need it).
