is there a drug that prevents you from dreaming? i don't consciously remember traumas from my early childhood, but i frequently relive them in dreams.

EMDR: You can't and dont want to stop dreaming but you do need help in processing these traumas. There is a therapy called emdr that may help you. See a therapist or ask your doctor for a referral to a therapist.

No : Dreaming is a normal physiologic response in sleep. If the dreams are bothering you talk to a psychiatrist or psychologist to review the dreams and see if there are issues that you need to work through.
