Doctor can evaluate: A primary care or an ob-gyn doctor can evaluate if a woman is worried about a mildly delayed period. Light-headedness happens with many many illnesses, so may or may not be related to menstrual periods. Many women have an occasional delayed period for no bad reasons. If worried that this might be a pregnancy, she can check a urine pregnancy test. A doctor can check symptoms that persist or worsen.

May be nothing: Make sure that you are well hydrated. Drink enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless. You may take an electrolyte drink like Gatorade. If symptoms persist beyond a couple of days, see your doctor.
