ADHD: Routine and structure is of paramount importance. These techniques can be mastered through participation in your child's cbt (cognitive behavioral therapy) with the help of a psychotherapist. This, of course, is in addition to medication.

Multimodal treatment: Most experts agree the best approach to treatment of adhd involves multimodal treatment. Medications are effective for many symptoms in 70% of the cases, but other behaviors and skills are best addressed through psychological therapies such as social skill training / cognitive behavioral approaches. Parent traingni can help with behavior problems and neuropsych/ld testing to address school needs.
