Got out of hosp 2 weeks ago collapsed lung from walking pnuemonia. how long should recoup be. legs feel like rubber bands and a simple yawn really hurts?

Two – four weeks.: Likely that the pain will be much better within the next two weeks and that the fatigue should improve significantly over the course of a month. It takes a long time to recover from these serious infections.

Be patient: It takes time. While the infection may have cleared, the actual injury to your lungs takes time to heal. Continue to speak with your doctor and increase your activities accordingly. Slow, steady, deep breathing will be important to assure full re-expansion of your lungs.
