A member asked:

My daughter has a golf ball sized lump on her leg where she got her pneumonia vaccine yesterday and she is having a hard time walking is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kinda large: A localized reaction to an injection can be treated with warm compresses and should resolve within a week or so. If she is having systemic reactions; fever > 101.5°F, difficulty breathing, or being fussy and not comforted; she should be seen by her doctor.
