Is it a bad idea to play sports with a fractured toe?

Yes: A bad idea. If you really really really had to because you are a professional and you were in the super bowl or something they make turf toe plates which prevent bending in the forefoot and then you could wrap the toe in coban or coflex, but in reality, it is not a good idea.

Refrain from : Any sport or activity which can put stress/force on the fractured toe. Consult with your podiatrist. May depend on which toe, type of fracture and how much healing has occurred. Error on side of caution.
