Depends: You may be limited to the types of pain meds you can take afterwards since you are nursing. You may also be limited to the types of anesthesia offered. If you are having an acute problem then you should take care of it, but you may wan to limit the work to the tooth that is problematic.

Depends: Depends on the situation. You don't want prescribed or administered meds getting into your breast milk then to the baby. If you pump some milk in advance, then give this mild to the baby for 24 hours post surgery, everything should be fine.
