It depends: There are many types of brain tumors. Some grow very slowly over many years, and some grow very, very rapidly. It really depends upon the type of brain tumor.

Sometimes rapidly: Glioblastoma multiforme (grade 4) tumors can double in size in 21-30 days. Other tumor types take longer to grow. Metastatic tumors to the brain will depend on the tumor type like small cell lung cancer doubles in size every 30 days but squamous cell cancer should double in size every 90-120 days.
