Low ALT, but normal : Normal value for alt and ast differs in various lab centers. As long as your alt value within that range, it is considered normal. However, alt value also depends on age, gender, ethnicity, body weight, timing of blood drawn etc therefore, someone may have lower than others, but within normal range. As long as it is within range set by lab, it is considered normal.
