No: Most early colon cancers have a very high success rate of long term survival rate. More advanced cancers that spread to other sites do not have the same success rates, but can still live for years.

NO.: Most colon cancers, if caught early, are very treatable. Even cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes is often responsive to chemotherapy. Prevention is the key. Get your screening colonoscopy. If having symptoms, (bleeding, pain, change in bowel habits), see a doctor.

Colon cancer: No. Colon cancer survival is based on stage. Early cancers can be cured. Once cancer has spread to distant organs, cure rate drops significantly.
