How much blood is left in left ventricle after diastole?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Rick Koch answered

Depends....: The ef (ejection fraction) is the percentage of blood ejected with each beat. Normal is 55-70%. Edv (end diastolic volume) is usually estimated by echocardiography using a biplane method of discs method using the apical 2 & 4 chamber views.
