How long to recover from scoliosis surgery?

Generally months: Since this involves a fusion, it takes months to up to one year for a fusion to fully heal. Your activity level will increase over this time as guided by your surgeon.

Months: Generally scoliosis surgery requires long fusions. It is big surgery. Usually 5 days in the hospital another couple weeks at home, the fusion occurs over the next six months and as such sports or contact activity is not recommended until then.
