How bad is the pain after scoliosis surgery?

Not bad: Alot depend on the surgeopn and the amount of correction he can do as well as the location of the curvature. I have had multiple patient that had this surgey and all do well with less post operative problem than back surgery for other problems.

This depends on the: Approach used and size of your incision as well as your age and conditioning . Most pain is well controlled with medication and its need decreases over time usually off all medication by 4-6 weeks post operatively.
