Stretching perhaps: We feel that inactivity can make sciatica worse, and do know that many discs can dry out (dessicate) over 9-10 months. Traditional exercise programs use williams exercises, but the newer mckenzie program is more effective. Gentle, supervised pilates, and feldenkreis may benefit. Proper gradual stretching is very useful. Learn these approaches from an expert physical therapist.
