Many: Chest pain. Many forms of trauma, particularly head trauma. Pulmonary embolism. Meningitis. Serious respiratory, pelvic, gastrointestinal and skin infections can be life threatening. Heat stroke. Even dehydration in infants and children can be life threatening.
