Depends: The most common sleep disorders are insomnia and sleep apnea. Insomnia is treated by good sleep hygiene, cognitive behavioral therapy and sedatives when necessary. Sleep apnea can be treated with oral appliances, weight loss, CPAP and nasal valves. Sometimes surgery can improve sleep apnea as well by creating more room in the throat area.
