Elevated glucose : An elevated fasting blood sugar(fbs), 2 hour post-prandial glucose, sugar in the urine, and elevated hemoglobin a1 c will "earn the diabetes championship title" in pregnancy. The FBS is a "snapshot" and the hemoglobin a1c is a "movie" of the glucose levels over 6 to 8 weeks have fared.
