Hip failure rate: It really depends on the implant utilized and the positioning of the components. In a well done hip replacement even with old technology you can anticipate 20 years of service or longer from your replacement. As technology has advanced we expect survival if implants to advance but long term studies are lacking. Most moser hip replacements report a suck cal rate at 5 to 10 years of over 90 percent.
