A member asked:

My heartbeat gets over to 120 with exercise. what shall i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing to worry: At age 32 a heart rate of 120 with exercise is pretty normal. You max heart rate can be roughly calculated by the following formula mhr = 220-age. There are other methods to calculate mhr, but the above formula is easiest. Stay below your mhr, and you should be fine. As always, if you are just starting an exercise program, ease into it, and don't continue if you don't feel well.
